The USDA has extended waivers which allowed us to feed our students last spring thru December 31, 2020. The State Department has approved our application. Effective Tuesday, September 8th, we will switch from the National School Lunch Program to Seamless Summer Option allowing all of Calhoun County students to eat breakfast and lunch at no charge. Parents will be responsible for any charges that have been made since the beginning of the school year. Charges will still need to be paid in full on or before September 30, 2020.
Please encourage parents of on-campus students and virtual students to fill out a new 2020-2021 free/reduced meal application by September 29, 2020. This is the last day to eat off of last year’s application. When the waiver ends in December, students will have the correct free, reduced or paid status.
Meals may be picked up on Thursday of each week. They will pick up five breakfasts and five lunches. PLEASE Click on the following link to complete your application to pick up your weekly breakfasts and lunches on Thursdays.
Pick up will take place each Thursday from 9:30a – 10:30a ONLY. The line will be at the 5th/6th grade exit side of WPMS.
Parents will be required to get out of the car and come to the door to pick up items.
ONLY White Plains Middle School students can pick up from White Plains Middle School.
There will be five breakfasts and five lunches served for each White Plains Middle School student ONLY.
