Two local schools found success on the links at Goose Pond in Scottsboro, AL. The White Plains Girls Golf Team qualified for the state tournament by finishing in 2nd Place in the 4A-5A Sub-State Tournament. Sub-State medalist, Abby Stevens from Alexandria High School, shot a score of 77 on the course and has qualified as an individual for the state tournament.  These ladies will continue their run with the High School Championship Tournament at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail @ Grand National in Opelika, Alabama on May 15-16, 2017.
