Daily Operation Plans     

Morning Procedures

  • School will open at 7:05.
  • Teachers that have duty will be on site at 7:10 and in classrooms by 7:30.
  • Students who drive to school will remain in their cars until the first bell (unless they want to eat breakfast).
  • Students who ride the bus or are dropped off by parents will report to designated locations
    • Bus/Car riders, who eat breakfast, will report to the cafeteria (Tables will be set up to adhere to social distancing guidelines).
    • Students who do NOT eat breakfast, or students who finish breakfast, will report to their designated gym. 
  • Boys will go to the “boys gym” and girls will report to the “girls gym”. Boys will hold 2 minutes after first bell

 

Break

  • Students will have break at the end of 2nd period
  • Students will “grab-N-go”
  • 10th - 12th will be in the Choir Room/7th - 9th will be in the Break Room

 

Lunch

  • Students will eat lunch in their classrooms or designated areas. Band, PE, Choir, Career Tech will be in lunchroom
  • Teachers will be allowed to eat outside, weather permitting
  • Classes will rotate in an orderly fashion on one side of the hall to “grab n go” their lunch. The student will relay their # to the cnp staff member for her to type it in. This will eliminate all of the students touching the same key pad.
  • Trash cans will be placed in the hallways for students to place their “lunch trash”
  • Students that are in career tech, will be allowed to eat in the cafeteria with social distancing parameters in place.

 

Class Change

  • Students are expected to travel on one side of the hallway at all times in straight lines. 
  • 9-12 Grade will transition when the first bell rings; 7-8 Grade will transition when the second bell rings. (The second bell will be a tardy bell for 9-12 grade)
  • Social distancing will be mandated accordingly.
  • There should be no congregating at lockers. Students will follow the “open and shut method”, and move on to their next period promptly.
  • Time between classes may be extended; however, there is to be no loitering in the halls. Once the bell rings students are expected to go straight to their next class.

 

Mask/Face Coverings

  • All students will be required to wear a mask.
  • Mask must NOT contain any “controversial” or “offensive” slogans, pictures, wording, or drawings
  • Ohatchee masks are highly encouraged!

 

Restrooms

  • Restrooms will be monitored and occupancy will be limited
  • There will be no loitering in the restroom - limited students based on stalls
  • Restrooms will be sanitized after each class change

 

Other Notes

  • There will be no assemblies or pep rallies at this time
  • Parents should monitor their child for fever, or other symptoms, before leaving home. 
  • Drop-offs of items will be permitted for emergencies only.
