Mr. Todd Manning
I graduated from Saks High School in 2000, where I played football and wrestled. After high school I recieved a football scholarship to Jacksonville State University for student assistant to the defensive coordinator. After graduating from JSU in 2005 with a BS degree in Secondary Education and majoring in Social Science, I became an assistant football and head wrestling coach at Saks High School. I left Saks to be the freshmen offensive coordinator and wrestling coach at Pelham High School. I moved from Pelham to North Jefferson to become the head football and wrestling coach. After relocating back to Calhoun County, I have been at Wellborn for five years. I am currently coaching football, wrestling, and baseball.
I have been in public education for eleven years. I am currently teaching Government and Economics for seniors and AP Government. I am also teaching pre-AP US History to tenth graders. In the past, I have taught AP US History as well. I am College Board Certified in History and Government. I have been the department head for History for the past two years.
