Welcome to my class page!  I am beginning my 26th year in education and my 20th year at Alexandria.  I am a 1988 graduate of Weaver High School.  After high shcool, I completed my BS degree in education at Jacksonville State University.  I then completed my MA degree in Biology from the University of Alabama -  RollTide!  I am married to David Shaw and have 2 wonderful boys, Trey and Justin, who are Alexandria alumni.  I have taught science for 24 years and am now currently teaching 7th grade English.  

I love teaching and look forward to having you as part of my class this year!
