Mr. Kevin Lockridge

Welcome!  My name is Kevin Lockridge.  I am married to Janna McBrayer Lockridge and we have 3 children - Mason, Maddie, and Mica.  I enjoy hiking, reading, gaming, and spending time with family.  I am excited to be teaching mathematics at Walter Wellborn High School!  This is my 23rd year in education.  I grew up in Piedmont, but finished high school at Hokes Bluff in 1997.  I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2000 with a B.S. in Secondary Education Mathematics.  I obtained my Masters and Educational Specialist degrees in Mathematics Education from the University of Alabama in 2002 and 2008, respectively.  I also have a Masters degree in Instructional Leadership that I obtained in 2011.  I taught mathematics at Pell City High School for a year and a half and at Saks High School for 7 years, where I coached several sports.  I have also spent time at the Central Office and as an Asst. Principal at Saks High School and at Pleasant Valley High School.  Most recently, I was the career technical director for Calhoun County Schools.  I look forward to finishing my career at Wellborn High School.  Go Panthers!
