• Poe

    Head Coach Kendall Poe is a 2008 graduate of Ragland High School. She was on the 2004 state championship team, won 6 area championships, and 4 regional championships. She graduated from Jacksonville State University in April 2013 and was hired on at Ohatchee as the 10-11 grade History teacher. Coach Poe served as pitching coach and assistant coach for 3 years before being named as head coach in the 2016 season. Under Coach Poe the softball program has won 2 area championship, made 2 regional championship appearances, and the school's first ever state tournament birth. She is the varsity assistant volleyball coach and is co-sponsor of SGA. Coach Poe holds a master's degree from the University of West Alabama in Instructional Leadership. She resides in Alexandria. 

     

    Bowen

    Varsity Assistant Coach Rebecca Bowen graduated from Saks High School in 2012 where she played volleyball and softball. She was on the 2012 state championship team, won 2 area championships, 4 regional championships and had 4 state tournament appearances. She graduated from Jacksonville State University in April 2016 and was hired on at Ohatchee Elementary in the kindergarten grade level and is currently the Pre-K teacher. Coach Bowen is also Head JV Volleyball coach. She is over catchers, outfield, and works with the hitters. She resides in Weaver with her husband, Zeke.

    Varsity Assistant Coach and Head JV Coach Taylor Kilgore is a 2011 graduate of Saks High School. She won 1 area championship, 3 regional championships, and had 3 state tournament appearances. She graduated from Jacksonville State University in December 2015 and was hired on at Ohatchee High School as the 7-8 grade English teacher. She is Jr. High Cheer sponsor and she is over Jr. High Scholar Bowl. She is married to her husband, Aaron Kilgore and they reside in Saks. Coach Kilgore is head coach of the JV team and works with 1st and 3rd positions on varisty.

     

    Jackson

    Varsity Assistant and Assistant JV Coach Aaron Jackson is a 2008 graduate of Ragland High School. While he was a student he served as the starting quaterback for the Purple Devils, as well as, starting shooting guard and center fielder for the boys basketball and baseball teams. He graduated from Jacksonville State University in May 2017 with a degree in Secondary Education Social Science. He was hired on at Wellborn High School where he served as head JV boys basketball coach and assistant coach for the girls softball team. He is beginning his first year on the creekbank where he serves as quaterbacks coach and head Jr. High boys basketball coach. Coach Jackson will coach outfielders and hitters. He and his wife, Lauren reside in Ragland.
