• Arthur Hardy (Weaver High School Class of 1979) Arthur was voted class president and was involved in several sports while in high school. He participated in track and basketball for 4 years and was selected as the Most Valuable Senior Athlete. He was given the Good Citizen Award by the Mayor's Office of Weaver. He was awarded the Most Valuable Player Award at the Calhoun County Basketball Tournament held at Jacksonville State University. He was awarded a basketball scholarship to attend Northeast Alabama State Junior College in Rainsville, Alabama.

    He graduated (NEASJC), with an associate degree and later received a BS degree in Commercial Art with minors in English and Marketing at JSU. While working as a Graphics Designer he was recruited and joined the Federal Bureau of Investigations. He was accepted into New Agents Training Class in August, 1987 and received training at the FBI Academy in Quantico Virginia. He graduated in November of the same year and was assigned to the FBI St. Louis Division. He served in St. Louis for approximately 17 years. During this time he was assigned to various squads to include: Property Crimes Squad, Special Operations Group, Drug Squad, Violent Crimes Squad, Public Corruption Squad, FBI Violent Gangs Task Force Squad and Undercover Squad. During this time he received numerous awards for his outstanding service.

    In February 2004, he accepted a transfer to the FBI Atlanta Division, Atlanta, Georgia and was assigned to the Macon Resident Agency, Macon, Georgia. During the next seven years he would work on numerous cases involving Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, Drugs, Gangs and White Collar Crimes investigations. He retired in August 2011 after 24 years of service.
