I started teaching Physical Education at Alexandria Elementary in 2006, I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Masters in Physical Education. I am blessed to be married to Cheryl Finley Hartzog and have two wonderful children. Hayden, 7 years old and Hudson, 6 years old. 

In 2009 I started a youth wrestling program after school which led to the start of Alexandria High School varsity Wrestling program in 2013. I have happily started this program and am assisted by Coach Tyler and Coach Jeremy. We have had great success for a new program and look forward to the years to come.

I have a link to the left below the welcome tab- it introduces a fitness challenge, called the Marathon Fitness Challenge, it is for the entire elementary school and even allows parents to get involved! Looking forward to another  great year in the my favorite place "The Valley"!
