Welcome to my class page!  

I am beginning my 30th year in education and my 24th year at Alexandria.  I am a 1988 graduate of Weaver High School.  After high shcool, I completed my BS degree in Education (Biology & English) at Jacksonville State University.  I then completed my MA degree in Biology from the University of Alabama -  RollTide!  

I am married to David Shaw and have 2 wonderful boys, Trey and Justin, who are Alexandria alumni.  I also have the sweetest daughter in law, Lauren, and the most precious grandson ever. 

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family, travel, and cook.  

I love teaching and look forward to having you as part of my class this year!
